The Peachtree City Library is a member of the PINES Consortium which includes over 275 libraries across the state of Georgia. Oftentimes patrons can place a hold on an item from another library within the state and it can be shipped to any PINES participating library. However due to their fragile nature, media such as audiobooks, DVDs, and Cds can only be obtained from libraries within the Flint River Regional Library.

Depending on how far the item is traveling from, along with several other factors, it may take between 2-3 weeks for the item to arrive at your preferred pick up location.

Instructions: How to Place a Hold

  1. To place a hold on a print book click on the PINES Catalog link below.
  2. In the search bar, enter the title or author of the book you wish to place a hold.
  3. To search within the entire PINES catalog make sure the "search within" bar indicates "All PINES Libraries". If you are looking for items just within the Peachtree City Library, change the "search within" option to "Peachtree City Library" located under Flint River Regional Library.
  4. Once you have found the title of the item you wish to place on hold, next to the title on the right hand side is the "Place Hold" button.
  5. Once you click "Place Hold" it will ask for your library barcode number and password. If you don't know your password, you can call the library to have your password reset OR you can go into "My Account" and use the "Forgot Password" feature.
